Augusto César San Martín
Born 20th of April 1967 in the City of Havana. He was attracted by the Ministry of the Interior and studied Criminal Sciences at the Herman Martinez Institute from which he graduated.
Because of differences with the military, he requested permanent removal from that agency, which petition was denied him for a year. In that time he made contact with the peaceful opposition and was incarcerated in 1994.
He was declared a prisoner of conscience in 1996, and upon his release from jail he collaborated with the Cuba Press agency from 1997 to 1999. In 2006 he founded the Jose Lezama Lima Information Center.
